To meet the increased demand for robust evidence to inform social policy and programme decisions, RI provides high quality, cutting edge research solutions to respond to complex challenges.
Singular methodological approaches provide one dimensional pictures of complex challenges and possible solutions. RI emphasises mixed methods approaches to deepen and strengthen research findings to inform tailored policy and programme responses. Key knowledge brokers are too often overlooked or minimally consulted on local political economy realities and actionable social policy changes. A common challenge for complex social policy research is to refine research questions and set appropriate parameters. At RI we work with key stakeholders to define the scope according to evidence needs and achievable outputs.

Evidence void of context is difficult to interpret and even more difficult to act upon. RII works with local knowledge brokers to ensure our evidence is informed by up-to-date political economy analysis and contributes to actionable social policy changes.
